Can't believe I've sat on these files for 2 weeks shy of 4 years.
4 years ago I was printing on a Wanhao Duplicator i3 clone. Great printer but just too small to do this boat justice.
I had plans to start it in March 2020.....but we all know what happened next. So my printers were conscripted to print nothing but faceshield frames for the next 4 1/2 months.
The next year and a half was taken over by orders created from contacts made during the faceshields episode.
So we roll into November 2021 and I start on a 150% scale CB-90....and the missus said " My dad would love that, can we give it to him for Christmas?", so yes my father in law got a CB-90 before I did!!
So here's where I'm at just now, and yes I made 1 mistake, I printed the wrong bow/foredeck combo, but I'll make that work somehow.
A long way to go yet though.
EDIT: For some reason I can't add images even once they've been resized down to 248kb
Tommy's 150% build
Re: Tommy's 150% build
Hi!
I know how it is. Regarding the images, I'll check if there is something wrong in the settings.
I'll try an attachment here and see if it works. What format did you try to upload?
Best Regards
/Olle

Re: Tommy's 150% build
Just basic resized jpeg files. I know these type of forums tend to have a size limit so I made sure all of the jpegs were smaller than 100kb
Re: Tommy's 150% build
Ok, so the build didn't go exactly to plan.
My father in law saw it and was so taken by it I ended up gifting it to him, I included me original Hamilton Jet drives which I printed around 5 years ag, just waiting for the right hull to put them in.
The blue one is my father in law's now.
The grey one is the reprint for myself

Re: Tommy's 150% build
I keep getting the following error message.
ERROR
It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image. Please verify that the URL you entered is correct.
I've resized right down to 263kb from 1.6mb and renamed the image to a far shorter name, any ideas?

Re: Tommy's 150% build
that's weird! I have image checking disabled. Try just to add it as an attachment and see how it works. (Because I assume that's not how you did? )
