This is the Fusion 360-project for the arc bridge I did a long time ago. I had not really learned how to master Fusion at that time so be aware that the project can be a bit messy!

New 2020 Track. Be aware that I've had some issues with component references in this project as I sped things up by not drawing everything from the ground up. I imported the connection ends with a small part track on them and built on that. So if you go back in history in this project and start to modify things you will end up with a complete mess. I needed to clean the STL's after exporting them. Now when I know the concept is working I might redraw them as new clean projects, but hey... it's more fun to work on new things..
I was not able to export the curved track as a Fusion project, however step was possible.

If you want to create some new track parts I suggest you use the joiner and sleeper part as a starting point.

First off, THANK YOU for this awesome project, one of the best things you can find to print on the net!

I recently got a Prusa Mini and I want to start printing the cars and the rails. I don't have experience with CAD (I'm a software engineer with some knowledge of electronics too but almost zero CAD knowledge) and I was wondering if somebody can adjust the sizes on some of these model files so they can fit on the Prusa Mini (180mmx180mm). For example, I really like the details on the new tracks but they are available on Thingiverse only in 100mm and 200mm length. I would like something in between that fits my printer (like 150mm). The parametric track version (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2221916) still has the old style (hasn't been updated) so I can't use that.

I haven't checked all the files to see if there are other parts larger than 180mm, if they are, please update the models so they will fit onto this slightly smaller printer.

You will most likely encounter many such situations so it's good if you know how to divide them.

Meshmixer is really powerful to edit STL's, so I really recommend checking it out.

Here you go! it's in a zip-file as I haven't yet added this file extension to the forum attachment rules.
This is the motorized version, just remove the motor mount, gears and center shaft for the non-motorized ones.

Great work! The system is awsome and I'm quite impressed with the turnouts. The design of the tracks is very nice and the use of the PLA deformation instead of the moving parts is great. Congratulations!

I'm a total beginner on the fusion 360. I'm having too much difficulty to model a 90deg crossing. Can you provide the f3d file for the 30deg crossing that you put on thingiverse? It would be a excelent start for me. And if I succeed to do the 90deg I send it to you, of course.

Hi! Thanks! I want this to be open so I'm including the fusion archive for the 30deg crossing here, but I need to disappoint you a bit with the fact that changing it to a 90deg is not possible. It will be substantially harder than modelling a 90deg crossing from the ground up. What I would suggest is that you start with 2pcs of straight track, place them as bodies in the same component, turn one of them 90 degree and combine them into one solid body. After that you can make a sketch from above where you remove the parts of the track that needs to be removed so that the wheels can pass through. But as said, I'm including the 30deg turnout here so you can have a look at it, but I'm afraid it won't help you.
